Position Overview:
The Vice-Chair will play a crucial role in establishing Tennessee's first unified statewide animal welfare organization.
This leadership position helps guide our mission to create professional, coordinated animal welfare services across all 95 counties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Board Chair in organizational leadership
• Help develop and implement strategic plans
• Guide the formation process of THS
• Participate in board meetings and decision-making
• Assist in building partnerships across Tennessee
• Champion our mission of unity in animal welfare
• Step in for Chair duties when needed.
Qualifications:
• Professional leadership experience

• Understanding of nonprofit operations
• Passion for animal welfare

• Time commitment of 5-10 hours monthly
